Letter from the President, January 2009

We would like to thank everyone, including the sponsors, musicians, local dignitaries, Longhorn Legends, cooks and volunteers who made this year’s event our best one yet! We’d also like to give special thanks to Butler Pitch “n” Putt and Lee Kinser for allowing us to continue having our event at such a wonderful spot. I’ve had so many people tell me they had never known about Pitch “n” Putt or had been such a long time since they’d played there.

3rd Annual Swingin' and Singin' highlights!

Here’s a list of everyone who we’d like to personally thank and if you see them, please tell them how much you appreciate their continued support for stem cell research and treatment! We also encourage you to use our sponsors for all of your business needs!

Mark your calendars!! Texans for Stem Cell Research will be participating in a “Stem Cell Day” at the State Capitol, January 22, 2009. Everyone is invited to the luncheon and we’d love for all of you to assist us in going to both the House of Representatives and the Senate as we pass out educational information as it relates to stem cell research. If you’ve never been to the Capitol or it’s been a while I’m sure you’ll really enjoy the day.

Thanks again,

David Bales
